Lighting Designer

Amie Schulenburg

The spa demanded a lighting approach that felt as restorative as the experience itself.

The lighting scheme was designed to create a sense of calm from the moment guests arrive. Fixtures are discreetly concealed, allowing the warmth of the materials and the softness of the space to take precedence. Gentle, layered illumination replaces harsh overhead light, with warm tones chosen to flatter the natural finishes and create an environment that encourages relaxation and a sense of escape.

The result is a spa environment where light works quietly in the background - enhancing the sense of retreat, honouring the architecture, and ensuring every guest leaves feeling restored.
